Aren't we all still in the works?

Awesome Weekend!

If you missed it (and many of you did) we had an awesome weekend the past few days with OPEN GYM and COFFEE HOUSE.

OPEN GYM was a ton of fun, and Sarah and I went home with sore shoulders from all the dodgeball we played. We weren't able to continue the tournament because there was only one team there with enough players to actually play.

COFFEE HOUSE was also great, we had Jon & Carrie Lewis in to play and they did an amazing job. I hope we are able to have them back some time.

The problem was that the turn out for both of those events was abysmal. It stinks to put a lot of work and planning into stuff like that and then have a handful of people come out. We did have a great time with those who were there... good games, great conversations... but it would have been nice to see some more support.

Maybe next time.

im' so bummed i had to miss the dodgeball thing cuz i def wanted to be there..... :(

but the coffehouse was awesome!!! more people def should ahve gone cuz the music was great and we had a really good time!

what in the world is a quince again? (if that's even how you spell it....)

I'm trying Josh, I really am! I wish I could come to everything (as my parents know quite well from my constant naging lol!) but I know for me that life just get's crazy, and as my parents constantly point out "you can't do everything". In their oppinion, youth group events are back burner to all of the commitments we've all made, and since they hold control of the keys... but I'm not complaining, cuz they still get me to most of the major events. I just hope more people keep comming to most things in general, even if not everything!!! I think a lot of it has to do with the size of the youth in the church too. There's just less of us, therefore less attendance at events :(
