I'm so lazy!

Sorry, I've so bad at posting anything lately... I feel slightly in a fog coming out of a couple really busy weeks.

I'm starting a grad class this saturday, it's only three days, so I'm sure that will keep me busy enough to not post much...

Again, I will repeat the plea for others to blog here with me. Share your stories, your struggles, your victories... your love for Jesus!

Catching Up...

Sorry it has been more than a week since my last post. I've been a little busy with camp last week and then working toward last sunday's youth service, and coffee house.

I hope you all have been having a great summer. i have recently added a bunch of events for fall and into winter, so go check out our events page.

And I promise I will have forms up for the two retreats ASAP.

The Camera Loves You!

So, we are trying something new on this trip. Video Diary's. Throughout our time here, we are all recording our thoughts on the day. It has been fun, and challenging all together. It's weird talking to yourself, but it makes you process what has gone on, and what has impacted you. I hope it turns out... maybe I will put a sneak peek on the blog if I have time... It's looking like rain tomorrow, so I think I might.

I am so tired, I better get to bed, it is going to be another long day tomorrow!

And... were here!

So we've been here since about 9:30am, and we've got a lot done. We spent the early afternoon cleaning a local "park" which actually is more like an empty lot. It was so full of trash. When you got an area cleaned, you look back it hardly looks liek you've done anything. I'll try to get some pics up soon.
That group that is here is AWESOME! They've done so much and endured the super hot mid-afternoon sun... and there is more to come KYW says.
We are going to be helping them do some prep work for their VBS which is scheduled to run next week.
It looks like it is going to be a great week. Hope you all have a great time on Wednesday!

iPod Gift Basket

So our College & Career class has been collecting money for a donation to The Factory Youth Center. We were able to raise enough money to put together a nice little "tech" basket that included a 2 gig iPod Nano and a $25 iTunes gift card and a few other tech gadgets... here are a few pics. Thanks to everyone who helped us help The Factory.
