Highlights... The Factory House
We had an awesome time at the Factory House on Saturday! God blessed with nearly perfect weather, and a great group of volunteers... we got way more done than I expected! Isn't that how it is with God thought? We expect so little, and he delivers so much more... enjoy some photo's of our day.

Youth Room Redo...
So I took some time at the end of last week to redo the Youth Building... we are a little tight for space in there as it is. I was going for some functionality with the tables in the back of the room, for games, or food... whatever. And by turning around the room, I think we will have less distraction from the door. I don't know... anyone have any thoughts or opinions? Suggestions?

Check out this ministry...
Here is another awesome ministry to check out. They are called "One Truth" and feature some awesome Christian apparel, art, and poetry. I got a window sticker for my truck last week, and an awesome poster that I'll put in the Youth building soon. Check them out!

Getting Involved Much?
So I am going to open up the opportunity to get much more involved with our Youth Ministry. For the most part, our awesome volunteer staff takes care of everything, but we want to get you serving right along side them. Here are a few options for your to step up into...
If you are interested, please talk to Pastor Josh, or any of our other volunteer staff and get serving!
- Worship - play an instrument? sing? interpretive dance? we want you! talk to Pastor Josh about getting involved on Wednesday Nights, or for our bi-monthly youth service.
- Snack's - we don't need no stinkin' Emeril. if you can make cool-aid and pour a bag a chips into a bowl... we want you! Mmmm... snacks.
- Announcements - I'm sure you get tired of hearing from me or the other leaders all the time, so step right up and help us out!
- Games - there so fun to play, and def. fun to watch. We need help with set-up, prep, execution and clean-up... if you can tie off a15 water balloons/minute, you were born for youth ministry games...

Jars of Clay
So tonight is the Jars concert. I know it is going to be a great concert... I'm not sure what I am more excited about, seeing Jars do some of their new stuff from their Good Monster CD or seeing Burlap to Cashmere back together. It's the best of both worlds, cuz they will be performing tonight, on the same stage.Wow, I can't wait, I see you guys tonight at the church... 5:30!!

Holiday... Holy-day...
Resurrection weekend. I hope all of you are having an awesome Easter Holiday. The Easter Holiday is as easy as Christmas to get lost in. Family, food, church services... all the good stuff... but we somehow lose the true meaning of what we are doing. How much time have you really spent thinking about the love-motivated sacrifice that Jesus made on your behalf? The turture he endured to pay your sin-debt? I am asking myself the same questions.Do I live my life like I am truly redeemed? Gotta do what David Crowder sings on his Lime cd... "I'm gonna sing like the saved!"

Interested in blogging?
So i was thinking, it would be cool to have some of you blog on our website about the how you live out your Faith in Christ in your differing lives... on a sports team, with an anti-christian teacher, in home-school... you fill in the blank. Up and coming
I am beginning to work on a few exciting programs for our Youth Ministry.
1. I would like to start some type of "youth-home-group" ministry on Sunday evenings. This would be a time of fellowship and deeper Bible study, and possibly an opportunity to develop student leaders...
2. I would like to start a student leadership type ministry. I know some of you would like the opportunity to lead and help with the ministry, and we would love to get you involved.
These and other ideas are in the works, but look for them to be out soon, and please get involved!

Ministry Opportunities
I'm excited to announce that we have partnered with The Factory to work on their newly purchased facility, The Factory House. We are going to be going down into Paradise on Saturday morning, April 28th and help do some general cleaning and painting.
This new facility will help The Factory reach further into the neighborhoods and homes of our community, so please come out April 28 to be a blessing to Chuck Holt, the director of The Factory, and to the community of Paradise.
