Youth Participation Wanted:
We are looking to get 4 or 5 youth involved in the planning & programming of the Youth Ministry. I am not just talking about wednesdays, but events and even Sunday school. If you are interested in being a part of what happens here in our Students Ministry let me know, I really want to see some of you step up your involvement.

Many of you have asked what exactly we are asking of you, and how much time it would take. What I am thinking is that you would come and sit in on part of our Volunteer meetings, which are about every 6 weeks or so, and that we want to hear your ideas for the Student Ministry here at CMBC. We aren't looking for you to run events, or to plan things by yourselves. We are looking for input. We are looking for people to get involved in the future of our Youth Ministry. I think the time cost to you might at the least a few hours a month. It could be more depending on how involved you get.
I think a key word here for me is ownership. We want some of you guys, (if not all) to take some ownership of the Student Ministry.

I like reading all the different passages from the bible that you post on the blog and the few that tori did on the blog...So if your wondering I do read them...they all sound so....just wow(I couldn't think of anything good enough to express my awe)

i agree with you alex... it is kinda difficult to navigate... and it takes you a lot longer to read all the comments. at least, it does for me. :)

I don't have the time to commit to really help out with youth events, sorry.
I agree on the forum. Have you tried using freeforums.com? I can show you an example of a site on that. (ok, so it's my own creation)

josh...i really don't have the time...what would you like me to do?? i would be able to commit to one thing better than 3 or 4 areas...but let me pray about if it is what God wants me to do than who i am to say no.
aww thanks steph...the lecture was amazing and i know i was no where close to describing it so you got the same feeling...i will keep posting stuff like that if ppl are reading them:)
and steph i encourage you also...just something that stuck out at you from your devotions or something you heard somewhere...share with us..i loved the mini lesson sarah gave us monday..that was cool...

thanks Josh. that helps a lot. i'll have to think about it and talk it over with miy parents and see what they think about it. i'll tell you my decision when i figure it out. : )
i will be willing to do that....let me talk to my parents so we are on the same page and i will get back to you:)
